A shared session for a maximum of 3 learners at a similar level in Year. 5, Year 6, Year 7 and Year 8.

Frequently asked questions

My area is not listed, can I still book a tutoring session?

Yes! My tutoring sessions are available online for everyone! If you were hoping for a home visit and your area is not listed, just fill in the contact form with your area and I will accommodate if I can.

How will you assess my child’s needs?

I adapt my assessment techniques depending on the age of your child, their educational need or their preferred learning style. It may be best to play a game, do some quick question and answers or simply have a discussion about what they would like support with.

How will I know the progress my child is making?

Within 24 hours of each session with your child, you will receive an email detailing the activities completed during the session, the outcomes and suggestions to support between sessions.

Do I need to stay in the house while my child is being tutored?

Yes please. You do not need to be in the room while tuition is taking place (either face to face or online) as it has been found that children will feel more at ease and relaxed when their parents/carers are not in the room but if you have any queries regarding this, please don’t hesitate to discuss them with me. I am DBS checked.

My child is home-schooled, can you help?

Yes of course! There are options available from Year 5 level upwards! Check out the Tuition Services page or get in touch for more information.

I left school years ago, can you help me improve my maths skills?

Absolutely! Let’s talk about what you need and come up with a plan that suits you and your goals!
