About Us

The Purple Circle offers mathematics and numeracy tuition to ages 10 and above, including GCSE and adult numeracy skills,
specialising in supporting those with ADHD, specific learning needs and those requiring support with home-schooling.

With an experienced tutor and teacher, sessions are tailored to your needs and preferred learning style providing a comfortable and positive experience that weaves fun in with progress.

Tuition services are available both online and as face-to-face home visits* and English and Welsh curriculums are catered for.

I’m Ellie, your dedicated and experienced Maths and Numeracy Tutor. With over 15 years of teaching experience in both primary and secondary education, I have developed a deep understanding of the English and Welsh Maths and Numeracy curriculums. I’m DBS checked and fully committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all my students.

I am friendly, approachable and reliable and connect maths with real-life, making it interesting and fun!

I have two lovely labradors who keep me busy in my spare time and I enjoy crafting and running around the village occasionally!

I have a real passion for maths and for helping others so, whether you’re struggling with basic numeracy, preparing for exams, or aiming to improve your maths skills in a
specific area, I offer a personalised tuition program designed to meet your unique needs. My extensive knowledge and experience allow me to adapt lessons to
ensure maximum progress and success in maths and numeracy.
